As a woman who battles Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), my diagnosis changed my life.

I experienced a severe development of acne and hyperpigmentation since the inception of puberty. I suffered excessive hair growth everywhere but my scalp which resulted in regular razor bumps after shaving. My hormonal acne ran relay races on my chin and forehead for years while hyperpigmentation dashed the confidence I once had affecting my mental health.

So I primarily made changes from within. I had to undergo surgery to help me lose weight. I spent 6 years prior testing and trialing solutions to my acne, eczema, razor bumps from excessive hair growth and discolouration from hyperpigmentation to very little avail. I decided to create my own solutions.

I began to document my journey into dermatology and wellness. I completely changed my lifestyle and habits which led to me looking better and feeling better. My confidence boost led me to sharing my products and advice with people of diverse ethnic groups and skin tones who are now a part of our PRIMM community. Now we have a team formulating and catering to our everyday people who understand that external beauty reflects the standard of your internal health.
